Sanders Sr. Biography Mr. Sanders is currently a business representative and trustee for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324 (IUOE Local 324).  He has been a member of this organization for the past sixteen years and serving in his current capacity for the last six years.  Prior to working for IUOE Local 324, Mr. Sanders operated heavy equipment (portable cranes, excavators and bulldozer) on projects in and around the City of Detroit.  He completed his apprenticeship training in 1995 and has taken classes offered by the International organization and Wayne State University Labor Studies program to prepare him for his work.  He is proud to be a life long resident of Detroit.
